visual world through my eyes…
at Khuri Sand Dunes, Jan 2012
if only he had heard of Cheese, I could have got him to smile a bit…maybe..
Ooh, I love this camel portrait!
I have a few more camel close-ups to go through. they were a bit edgy but most well behaved whenever i did this :)
…haha…that would surely have been some strange fun adventure! :P :D
Superb portrait!!! Glad you included the camel…it really adds to the photo! I love the smile the camel has…he looks like a happy guy/gal !
Thanks David. the camel was the intended subject :)
and he is a boy. the theory (which the camel guy explained) is that males were used for the heavy-duty load carrying and boy when you look at some of the tourists sitting on them, you realize the load they have to carry !
So handsome and hairy! The camel is an attractive fellow, too. ;)
absolute charmer… he loved posing for the camera too :)
Who, the camel or the person? ;)
both of them :)
Beautiful photo, as always!
Thank you. Glad u liked it
At least his eyes look humorous…perhaps. :D A good photo. I like the things/persons in the background as well. :)
oh don’t go by the lack of smile..he had a wicked sense of humor.
I’ve been exploring the idea of using a wide angle and getting closer for portraits more often these days as compared to using a telephoto to isolate earlier and that helps bring out a bit of the background. It is a subjective thing and as of now I like it more often than not. In fact I was so close to the camel on this one that had he moved even a little to his right, he would have licked my lens or maybe even my face :p
