spring bloom #1

Bellevue Botanic Garden |  March 2012

Flora is the dominant theme right now and its next to impossible to ignore them. Truly flower power is at its peak right now. The tulip gardens in the Skagit Valley are in full bloom . Wild flowers are also beginning to bloom( although that season lasts longer  especially for the alpine bloom that will happen in July/August (Mt Rainier)). Having easy access to the wonderful Botanic Garden in the neighborhood means I can’t even quote accessibility as an excuse.

This image took its beginnings from the limitations of the X100 focusing in manual macro mode. Gear Limitation can be a blessing sometimes :)
