Basilique du Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre, Paris
t= 25 seconds exposure;
long exposure on architecture can create some very creative results. I have always admired such work, especially if used metaphorically to convey the sense of permanency (relatively speaking) contrasted with the transient movements (clouds, humans). I had the good fortune of visiting this amazing landmark of Paris on a cloudy evening, although for only about an hour.
lesson learnt – it does not matter if photography is your primary focus or not, If you are in Paris, do yourself a favor and go see the Sacre Coeur Basilica in Montmartre, and give yourself at least half a day.
I love sacré-coeur and this shot of it is amazing. Great idea!!!
Glad you like it…sacre-coeur is very beautiful..it was a shame I only had 30 minutes or so to spend here..I would like to think I will revisit it again and spend more time
This photo is remarkable! The power, movement, the dominance…it all works perfectly!
thanks..a lot of things got around together to work very well here !
Amazing Parisian architecture. It blew me off in terms of its aesthetics:)
Thank you !
Love the point of view and the movement in both the people and the sky. Great to see how you are evolving in your work.
thank you for your kind words and appreciation Jane. I do consider myself lucky for having tried this and more importantly it seems to work here..I literally had about 30 mins or thereabouts to work on here.
What a great shot.
Love that suggestion of movement with the blurred figures & cloud cover effect.
Thanks Victoria
