The Last Supper
Last Supper, Rhyolite outside Death Valley, Nov 2012
‘The Last Supper, a collection of giant ghost-like figures garbed in white, are the work of several Belgian artists who traveled to Death Valley in 1984 to escape the confines of Europe and seek inspiration from the desert’
What a stunning piece of artwork and brilliantly captured in this photo.
It was bizarre and fascinating to photograph
Great one! I’d love to return to Death Valley
me too. How long were you in DV and what was the highlight of your trip ?
I was only passing through! We stayed for about 2 hours or so, en route to Nevada. Zabriskie Point and Dante’s View were amazing. I would love to explore the park some more! For how long were you there?
we spent about 5 nights around Thanksgiving (Nov) , driving back and forth from Seattle and got to see quite a bit, yet plenty more left to be seen
Wow – that sounds so exciting. And I can’t imagine how much more there is to explore. All the more reason to go back!
Amazing!
Thanks Rajiv
